These Terms apply to the Sport.Sequi application, its home-screen widget and related Sport.Sequi services.
By using Sport.Sequi, you agree to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
2. What Sport.Sequi does
Sport.Sequi is an independent sports schedule guide designed to bring together upcoming fixtures and sporting events selected by the user.
Sport.Sequi is not an official application of, and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by, any league, team, club, governing body, competition, broadcaster or sports-data provider unless expressly stated otherwise.
Names of teams, competitions, events and organisations are used for factual identification.
Sport.Sequi does not provide betting, financial or travel advice.
3. Free access
Sport.Sequi offers a free level of access.
The free version may limit the number of selections that can be active at the same time. A selection may represent a team, competition or event feed depending on the sport.
The app will explain the applicable free limit before asking you to purchase additional access.
We may reasonably change features available without payment as Sport.Sequi develops, provided this does not remove rights you have already purchased.
4. Paid subscriptions
Sport.Sequi may offer an optional paid subscription providing additional functionality, including additional or unlimited selections.
Subscriptions are purchased through Google Play on Android or the Apple App Store on iOS.
The price, currency, billing period, applicable taxes and renewal terms displayed by Google Play or the Apple App Store immediately before you subscribe are the terms applicable to that purchase.
Sport.Sequi does not separately guarantee that a price previously advertised elsewhere will remain available.
Where a subscription automatically renews, this will be made clear by the relevant marketplace before purchase.
Google Play and the Apple App Store administer subscription payments, renewals and applicable marketplace billing procedures.
If a subscription price changes, the change will be handled in accordance with the rules of the marketplace through which you subscribed and applicable consumer law. This may include advance notification or, where required, your agreement to the new price.
A Sport.Sequi subscription provides access to Sport.Sequi consumer-app functionality. It does not provide access to Sport.Sequi's backend as a public sports-data API or bulk data feed.
5. Cancellation, expiry and restoration
You can manage or cancel a subscription through the marketplace through which it was purchased:
- Google Play for Android purchases; or
- Apple's App Store for iOS purchases.
Cancellation will normally stop future renewal rather than immediately ending access for a period already paid for, subject to the terms displayed by the relevant marketplace.
If a subscription expires or otherwise ceases to provide entitlement, Sport.Sequi may return to the applicable free level of access.
Sport.Sequi may retain your saved configuration locally rather than deleting previously selected teams or feeds so that those selections can become available again if paid access is restored.
Purchases may be restored through the relevant Google or Apple purchase system where supported.
Removing the Sport.Sequi app from your device does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.
6. Refunds and consumer rights
Refund requests and payment issues are handled through Google Play or the Apple App Store where the relevant marketplace controls the transaction.
This does not affect any statutory rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any entitlement to a refund, price reduction, repeat performance or other remedy that the law requires.
7. Fixture and event information
Sport.Sequi aims to provide useful and accurate upcoming sports information.
Sports schedules can, however, change at short notice. Fixtures and events may be postponed, cancelled, moved, rescheduled or published before an exact start time is known.
Third-party information may also occasionally be delayed, incomplete or incorrect.
IMPORTANT:
Sport.Sequi is an independent schedule guide. Fixtures and broadcast information can change and may be delayed or incomplete. Confirm important timings with the official organiser or broadcaster before booking travel or accommodation, or making other time-sensitive or financial commitments.
Sport.Sequi does not deliberately invent missing fixture dates or times. Where a reliable source supplies a date without a confirmed time, Sport.Sequi may display the event without a time.
We cannot guarantee that every fixture, competition, event or schedule change will be available immediately.
8. Sports data and third-party sources
Sport.Sequi combines, processes and normalises factual sports schedule information obtained from third-party and open-data sources.
Current source and attribution information is provided within Sport.Sequi.
Different sources are provided under different licences or contractual terms. These include open-licensed sources and commercial data providers.
Sport.Sequi may, where permitted by the applicable source terms, extract, normalise, reformat, combine and cache information for use in the Sport.Sequi service.
Where an applicable licence requires attribution, licence information, identification of modifications or other notices, Sport.Sequi aims to preserve those requirements.
Some source material is made available under open licences such as Creative Commons licences.
Nothing in these Terms removes or restricts rights independently granted to you by the licence governing third-party or open-licensed material.
Purchasing a Sport.Sequi subscription does not transfer ownership of third-party data, trademarks or other third-party material to you.
9. Sport.Sequi intellectual property
The Sport.Sequi software, original interface, branding and material created specifically for Sport.Sequi are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Third-party and open-licensed material remains governed by the rights and licences applicable to that material.
Sport.Sequi does not claim exclusive ownership of underlying sporting facts merely because those facts appear within the service.
No display of the name of a team, league, competition or organisation should be taken as evidence of sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement.
10. Acceptable use
Sport.Sequi is intended as a consumer sports-schedule application.
You must not:
- interfere with or attempt to disrupt the service;
- attempt to obtain unauthorised access to Sport.Sequi systems;
- deliberately bypass subscription or technical access controls;
- misuse credentials or security mechanisms;
- deliberately overload the service; or
- use Sport.Sequi's private backend as a substitute public sports-data API or to reconstruct and redistribute restricted source datasets.
These restrictions relate to access to and operation of the Sport.Sequi service.
They do not remove rights that an applicable third-party or open-data licence independently grants you in the underlying material.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Sport.Sequi available and useful but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Sports-data providers may change their services, availability, licences, terms or data formats.
Google, Apple, Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers may also change services on which Sport.Sequi depends.
We may therefore reasonably update, replace or remove a feature or data source where necessary for reliability, security, licensing, legal compliance or continued operation.
Where this materially affects a paid service, Sport.Sequi will comply with applicable consumer law.
12. Responsibility and liability
Sport.Sequi will provide its service with reasonable care and skill.
Because sporting schedules originate from and may be changed by third parties, Sport.Sequi cannot promise that every fixture or event will always be complete, current or error-free.
We are not responsible merely because a league, team, organiser, broadcaster or other third party changes an event after information has been published.
You should independently confirm information where an error or late change could cause significant expense or inconvenience, particularly before arranging travel, accommodation, tickets or other time-sensitive commitments.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We do not exclude responsibility for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill where applicable law makes us responsible for that loss.
Sport.Sequi is intended primarily for personal consumer use. If you choose to use it for business purposes, Sport.Sequi is not responsible for business losses except where the law requires otherwise.
13. Suspension and ending use
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect Sport.Sequi, its users, suppliers or legal rights, including deliberate attempts to bypass access controls, attack the service or redistribute restricted data.
We will not use this provision to arbitrarily remove paid consumer rights.
You may stop using Sport.Sequi at any time.
Remember that uninstalling the application does not necessarily cancel a subscription. Subscription cancellation is managed through Google Play or the Apple App Store, depending on where it was purchased.
14. Privacy
Information about how Sport.Sequi handles personal information is contained in the Sport.Sequi Privacy Policy:

15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary because Sport.Sequi changes, legal requirements change or the terms governing a data source or marketplace change.
The current Terms will be available at:
The latest revision date will be displayed at the top.
Where a change materially affects an existing paid subscription, we will provide any notice or choice required by applicable law or the marketplace through which the subscription was purchased.
Changes to these Terms do not remove consumer rights that have already accrued.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections applicable to you.
Consumers resident elsewhere may have additional mandatory rights under the laws of the country or part of the United Kingdom in which they live.
If Sport.Sequi becomes commercially available in additional territories, mandatory local consumer law continues to apply where required.
